I am a proud Bandjin man. A Saltwater man. Saltwater is my life bringing its deep connections to sea and its coastal waters, waterways and its fringes that has shaped me as a Barramundi fishing guide all of my life. Past down to me by my father through his teachings, traditions and connections to country.

Col: 01 / Birds or Prey

This lure to me represents Flight and Hunting. The Jabiru being a graceful hunter spearing his prey with his beak and the Egret The barra bird telling me where the bait and the barramundi are.

Col:02 / Fire

This lure to me represents FIRE. The Red is the red hot coals and the White represents white ash. Camp-fire, our Sitting down place were we cook our traditional tucker connecting me to country and telling of stories.

This lure to me represents the journey from saltwater country to freshwater resting place. A place of deep connection, spirituality and cleansing country.
